How do you guys clean hard to reach tight areas/what do you use?

So , I would never take off seats for multiple reasons. I don’t want the airbag to go off and re-install them wrong. Not my forte, as they say.

How do you guys clean in between middle console and seats?

Yea I’m talking about that tight area we can’t reach without using some kind of brush?

I struggle with this area of detailing and could use a lot of help?

    Thanks in advance guys.

Feel frustrated just writing about it lol

•I use some kind of brush:
    (An under appliances microfiber brush.)

    •And sometimes compressed air/air nozzle.

Combination of some kind of brush, various vac attachments (some I made) and moving the seats all the way back or fore. 90% of the time I can get the job done but if it’s gunekd with years of coffee spills, chocolate, greasy fast food and neglect there will be less expectations. On really tight spaces I’ll use compressed air to try and loosen what I can

If I’m doing a car’s interior that has hard to reach areas I’ll start by using Compressed air with an extension on my air nozzle. I made a extension with quarter inch copper and taped up the end so it won’t scratch anything.

If you're mobile and don't have compressed air, the metro sidekick (or something equivalent) can blow out pretty well.

Thanks for reply guys. I was talking about like removing stains in there?

Have anyone of you all removed seats?

Most seats aren't that hard to remove. There's always a disconnect for any wiring going to the seat. Maybe disconnect the battery if you're worried about something going haywire. You could start out by removing some from older, less expensive vehicles.

Check YouTube for the first few to watch someone else go through it. Be careful with the electrical disconnect and be sure to reattach.

    Go to Pick-a-part and practice.

Get some of these Mothers brushes and wrap a towel around them.

    •IMO:
-This is where at least two things
    immediately come to mind:

1.) Communicating to the Client your
unwillingness to remove seats in order
to remove stains between them and the
    console...but, conversely, that you are
more than willing to attempt the removal
of any debris/clutter that can, otherwise,
    be reached.

2.) Remember the lessons taught in Mike
Phillips’ article regarding learning how to
gracefully turn down certain detailing jobs,
    and/or particular tasks contained therein.

•To further these points, here’s my
paraphrasing of another one of my
    favorite Mike Phillips’ adages:

    ”...major on the majors;
    minor on the minors
    ...”
