What LSP do the pros use?

I detail for family, friends and occasional paying customer. Most have never paid for a detail and do little to maintain their car’s appearance. I get these vehicles a couple of times a year. I look for maximum durability out of LSP’s. I’m curious what the pros use on daily drivers that they only see 2-3 times a year. Thanks for all of the info you folks share!

I'm no pro, ofcoarse, but if I had to guess they're using coatings for one reason...easy maintence. The real busy guys don't have time for their own rides so when they get the time, it needs to be VERY easy to clean their own ridesWhat LSP do the pros use? What LSP do the pros use?

-It might be easier to first find out what
are some of the more durable LSPs that
you’ve used on the above vehicles.

-(Who knows: Some of your LSPs may
be what the Pros use on daily drivers...
and you wouldn’t need to change-up
the last step of your detailing process.)

The key to durability for most any wax or sealant is maintenance, i.e. proper washing and a booster at least once a month at the minimum. Environment and where the car is parked on a daily basis also play a role. That being said, you might take a look at the Collinite line. I got surprising results from it when it was applied to our cars for the winter and then not touched again for a few months.

I normally use Duragloss 111/601 and sometimes top with Colinite 845, Colinite 476 alone or Meguiars Ultimate Liquid. I get to see my parents and kids’ vehicles more often so it’s normally Duragloss with Aquawax on follow up washes. I have also tried Opti-seal and Wolfgang Liquid Seal but didn’t get very good longevity as determined by beading. I do plan to try a ceramic coating on my personal vehicle in the near future...once I can decide which one. Too many choices! Thanks

You have the ideal products in my opinion for those vehicles. My favorite still being 845. To be fair, I have not tried the DG twins.

-Your LSPs, being the Sealants that they are,
will meet, or exceed, the innate characteristics
of most of the Sealants that the Pros use in
    their detailing of Daily Drivers.

    •On top of that:
-Your LSP choices are readily available; user
friendly in and of themselves; easily maintained
    and/or renewable; very affordable...
    -I wouldn’t change a thing if I were you.

Re: What LSP do the pros use?

It depends on what the vehicle is. I use Wolfgang Paint Sealant if someone wants a protection layer for a two-step. Blackfire One Step has a paint sealant in it as well, so that saves a ton of time and I just go with that. For something more long-term and durable, and entry level ceramic coating like Dr. Beasley's 1201 or similar. As stated by others, the longevity really depends and the vehicle being washed and maintained regularly, as well as if it is garaged or parked outside 24/7, and "boosting" after a wash with an SiO2 spray for example.
