    Hoping to fix my mistake!

I bought some "water spot remover" from an ad on Facebook a while back. At first I was excited because the water spots did come out! However, my application method yielded some holograms on all of my windows. I used a hand-held rotary polisher with a foam pad. You can see the defects in this picture (the truck is very dirty in this picture).

Luckily, I can still safely drive the truck and the holograms are only visible when the light hits them just right. I have purchased Carpro Ceriglass and some rayon pads to attempt to get rid of the holograms. When you look close, it is basically tiny micro-scratches left in the glass either from the polish or the residue. I hope to get some after shots this weekend if time allows.

I couldn't quite get the angle to see if the holograms on my truck are gone but I was able to get a shot of the water spots on my wife's car.

You can see where the spots stop at the top of the glass. I didn't want to get too close to the edge at first. This didn't take much time at all with my little hand held rotary polisher from Harbor Freight. I have a 3" backing plate on it and the LC rayon pad fit right on.

I did polish my truck windows but like I said before, sometimes the angles just aren't right for capturing the defects. Or maybe the defects are just gone!

Whelp, the holograms are definitely being caused my the rotary polisher. They don't seem to be as prominent this time around though. I will try again with a DA. It might just be a side effect of trying to polish glass???
