    I use the M37 version that I got here years ago, but if you don’t mind large quantity, I’m sure this works just as well:

    BLACKFIRE Wax Remover

    Although this is more meant for trim and not sure how it works on smooth gloss plastic, if that’s what you’re referring to. APC should remove that I think.

    •I’ve used the following to remove Wax,
    etc., from black textured plastics:
    -Meguiar’s M39 Professional Heavy
    Duty Vinyl Cleaner;
    -Griot’s Garage Dried-on Wax Remover
    -P21S Total Auto Wash
    (TAW)

    •Once the plastic has been cleaned:
    -Meguiar’s Ultimate Protectant is,
    IMO, an excellent follow-up product.

    $5 bottle of mineral oil and a microfiber rag or magic eraser where needed.

    What kind of plastic?
    I've used a regular pencil eraser on my Explorer with textured black plastic. Worked great.

    Did you mean mineral oil, or mineral spirits?

    Just for my own confirmation.

    Mineral Oil. Mineral spirits is a solvent and that would work too I suppose
