    Recommendation for “tire wet”

Hi all - I know this is a loaded question, but I want to try something else as a tire wet for my truck’s stupid knobby tires. I have been using Blackfire Tire Gel and while it works, it is a pain to get around all those knobs in the tires. I think a spray might work best. Anyone recommend a spray they can’t live without?

My wife's Jeep has Nitto Graplers that are even a bit more gnarly than yours.

No way I'd ever try and hand-apply a dressing on those things.

I use Griot's Black Satin aerosol on hers, and it works pretty good IMO.

I have the same tires on my truck. As you know, it takes a long time to dress them. I haven't tried it yet, but an aerosol dressing would probably work best. I want to try Griot's black satin tire coating eventually.

I'd stay away from Griots black shine spray as it slings and looks greasy unless you wipe it down.

Eldorado2k mentioned applying dressing to big nobby tires with a flag tip brush.

Mothers Wheel Brush makes cleaning your wheels more comfortable with a rubberized grip. Clean your wheels with Mothers Car Care Products!

I know when he posted it others had tried and had success with it. I believe he sprayed on tire abd leveled with the brush.

Same tire on my ZR2. Piece of cake now to dress. PERFECT EACH AND EVERY TIME.

    1. Duragloss #253 tire dressing. NO SLING.
    2. Get a flagged tipped brush!
    3. Spray directly on the brush and go around the tire and dress.
    4. DO NOT TOUCH OR WIPE.
    5. DONE. Admire your tires.
