Re: Looking for an after wash topper spray
I think there are 2 major factors here that might influence your decision.
1. How often do you wash your car?
2. Where is your car stored between washes, out in the open or garage kept?
If you wash fairly often, weekly or biweekly, I would say most OTC spray waxes would be more than sufficient... Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax is my favorite, but BM is also perfect for this type of interval. If you can go several weeks between washes, I would recommend something a little more robust like Sonax BSD or TW Seal n Shine.
Garage kept cars maintain their finishes longer and it's always tempting to touch-up with a detail spray, RW or WW between washes... your shine and protection just lasts longer because of all the touch-ups. If you leave your car outdoors, I would rarely do anything in-between washes, the combination of dew and dust alone, every night, degrades the shine and protection night after night and negates all the effort you put into detail sprays, RWs and WWs, especially here in hot, humid South Florida.
One last thing I noticed, with BM, if the outdoor conditions are dusty, BM tends to attract, or does not repel dust very well. I had BM and Meg's QW side by side on the trunk and the BM side was noticeably and substantially dustier after a week. I have to assume there are other toppers out there that display similar behavior so it's something to look out for.

This caught my eye.
Has this been checked before side by side?
Honestly the Reload/Ech20 is good enough considering the price points.
I have been having good luck with Elixir over UK3. Then again what am I really looking for?
If I used D156 I would notice static dust build up, something I don't get with Elixir.

My Wolfgang Uber detail spray solution works for me as a drying aid and as an after wash spray. Lately I have been using Griots 3 in 1 which is a superb product.

Griot's 3 in 1 as a drying aid...isn't it a bit thick/concentrated for that

Not as a drying aid but as an after wash topper. I agree that it is too thick for a drying aid.

Someone should try it. I’ve had good luck with thick products as drying aids. My favorite aid,Ammo hydrate, is a thick cream almost... works great.

Spray the thick aid on the towel and dry away. Should hopefully not cause streaking.

I still use Bead Maker on my garage queen. I just wanted to a bit more protection in between washes for my wife’s and my daily drivers.

I don't have a power washer so use various IK hand pumps. Griot's Garage Poly Gloss is going to be one of your favorite products to use but PLEASE,don't drink it, no matter what your nose tells you
