Maybe I'm just a little odd, I find it really entertaining what happens to water beads like that as I drive away. On a car with a really hydrophobic surface, those tiny beads all start to merge together and then rapidly roll up the hood. At 45~50 mph the whole hood is dry in a couple blocks.
With a sealant like 845 the drops would form big blobs which would start to shake like a jello mold and then self destruct into a shower tiny droplets into the slipstream moving over the car.

Rainy day. This is what I'm seeing. Compared to TW SNS, the beading is less pronounced. I have thought about getting a true coating or PPF on the front hood/bumper and roof, but I'm holding off because I don't think I'll have this car longer than 3 years.
