White oval ring on interior door
Has anyone seen this? I tried water and P&S interior with a brush and it made do no difference. If I look closely, it looks the plastic is scrape off, therefore giving that white stuff. I hope that is not the case.
Would appreciate any advice to remove this annoying spot.
Thanks!

I have seen this before. The factory coating that is over the plastic as worn off/failed. Mainly due to high traffic (arm), sweat, etc. You won't be able to remove it.

Definitely seems like a possible warranty claim

I'd say it would hopefully be a warranty repair. I'd want them to replace the door panel. It can be 'fixed', some interior/upholstery guys re-dye/repair etc. But if it's a new vehicle, I'd want a replacement panel...

Ok. Just thought the spots might have been similar. You would think by now, they could produce car interior plastics that are scratch proof and damage proof. I am sure the tech is out there, just costly to produce no doubt.

Hey guys! I apologize for the confusion. It's the same post. I didn't know how to delete the first post. I took a better picture of the white ring. So it looks like this is damage from BMW?
