    Re: Griot’s 3-1 Topper/Maintenance

Since Griots 3-1 is already a spray product, which should make it really easy and fast to use, why not simply add another coat of 3-1 vs topping it with another product?

While it's probably a really good stand alone LPS, I actually think of this product as a topper itself for anything with a coating.

    Re: Griot’s 3-1 Topper/Maintenance

I think for anything that's a spray and wipe product, the only type of topper I'd use is either another layer of the same product or a rinseless wash such as Duragloss or ECH20.

I dont think so because it’s already formulated to mix with Sio2

    Re: Griot’s 3-1 Topper/Maintenance

I have been using the Griots 3 in 1 Ceramic and I am a big fan. There is no need to use a topper but I use Wolfgang Uber or Carpro Ech20 as a detail spray and drying aide. Dust and water spots easily wipe off.

Are you using the 3 in 1 as a stand-alone LSP, UD?
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Yes Paulie this is a stand alone LSP. I applied it to the wheels on all three vehicles this weekend. One of my customers uses F11 Topcoat on his motorcycle and I am trying to talk him into the Griots 3 in 1.

I agree with all this, not that anyone can’t top with whatever they want. I wouldn’t hesitate using a ceramic spray topper like 3-in-1 every few weeks or monthly as a drying aid. If you love the performance, why not, right? Plenty of fluid in the bottle and it’s cheap.

With winter fast approaching here, I am actually very curious to see how this works on snowblower augers/impellers.......

F11 has a very big following in the motorcycle community. I have a friend that uses it on his Harley and swears by it.
