Rubberized plastic trim care

I have a F150 6 months old and the trim on the top of the door along the window looks dirty and starting to fade? Doesn't seem to want to clean up. It is soft and feels like it is rubberized or a soft touch paint. Is there something different than plastic trim restorer that should be used?
