Exclamation Glass Polishing Refinishing going wrong .... HELP PLEASE!

I have the CarPro Pads and the Cerium Oxide using a Flex Polisher. I also have a water atomizer spray bottle. I have been working on the glass for an hour and much to my dismay it seems to be adding chicken scratches into the glass on the 2000 Corvette I am working on. This doesn't seem normal to me.

    What am I doing wrong?

I am spreading it on low, then going to 5 or 6 speed slowly going back and forth and misting as soon as it is appearing to dry out.

should the windshield be really wet, moist or dry with the cerium oxide ?

From my classes with Mike, you must keep the glass frequently misted. Those glass pads and heat will dry out the polish and when dry it get hot. Make sure you clean the pad if frequently, to avoid anything stuck between the pad and glass. Also remember that any surface imperfections will show up more as you polish, at least I find the rock chips start to scream hello! Perhaps Mike will jump in Monday and correct my memory!

You have the right stuff - has to be technique.

Hope you started or are testing on the passenger side.
