@WillSports3, no making fun of me if I buy it though. I promise it isn’t the description that gets me excited. It would be my first “graphene-infused” spray.

    Graphene:
-“It can do everything but get out of the lab.”

    On the other hand...

•Not to worry; it’s not the end of the world:
-Carbyne—which is 4 times stronger than Graphene—
may just become the next catchy techno-buzzword
that will be emblazoned on car detailing products:
    -“Foretold is to be forewarned.”

The Adam's spray graphene product looks to be pretty durable.

Humidity? LOL. Do your windows look like this at 10am? My sliding glass door, that's humidity Florida style. That's my 10 foot sliding glass door the other morning.

    Re: Zymöl stepping in now

Okydokie finally got a chance to play with it, while learning some things.

The car is a 2018 red Camaro that had been coated with CQuartz UK by a previous Detailer. I THOUGHT that a simple pass with a white polishing pad and reflect would remove the coating. I did test my theory and with a simple water test it looked like the coating effects were gone. So I proceeded with that method followed by spraying down the car with eraser looked good after I was done, proceeded to apply the topper, went on well no real flash to speak of.

Next day owner calls and says it doesn’t look right. Went over and the paint didn’t look clear like it had when I was there. Called Zymol to discuss, and the rep told me I MUST use HD Cleanse. HD Cleanse has SIo2 cleaners that remove the coating and scrub the paint down better, and that correct application of Cleanse was the entire bottle on the car. Okydokie let’s try again.

Saturday didn’t go how I wanted, HD cleanse is supposed to be a final polish but it was causing major marring on this soft red GM paint. So I scrubbed down the entire car with cleanse and then again polished it with reflect and a polishing pad back to near perfect. Followed with eraser then reapplied the coating. The HD Cleanse I was using was the old blend, meaning it had broken down and that probably is what led to my issues with the application.

I called Zymol this morning to ask about my issues with HD Cleanse, they transferred me to a guy named Chuck. Very easy going guy who is the one that told me I had an old bottle, turns out he’s the CEO of the company! We had a great talk and he is sending me some things to try and the new updated bottle, which he says shouldn’t damage the paint at all.

As it’s a new product real world testing is hard to nail down how long it’ll last, but they’ve been around for 40 years so that’s comforting.

On to the pictures!!! The car looks incredible now, the paint has an insane amount of depth now. Ceramic doesn’t offer that warmth like a wax does, it’s just really glossy.

    Re: Zymöl stepping in now

So you got a new bottle (formula) of Cleanse to use that quickly?
