I was following up until the words in bold... nope no way would I like to use MY CAR, for this study haha. More a rhetorical question as I’m sure none of us would like to truly test this.

In my prior post #20, I sort of let the bird poo sit longer than I otherwise should have because I was daring the Enigma Wax protection would be fine to prevent etching. It’s probably the last time I’ll ever let a bird poo sit any longer than can be prevented.

I’m confident in my lsp. What do you guys want me to do? Lol

Or better yet, ask the WaxMaster to do it... I sent him a sample of the stuff and he’s able to test on his company vehicle. So far he says the lsp is holding up great.

As soon as possible, I will always try and remove bird poop or dead bugs because of the level of damage they can cause and just how severe it can become in a short amount of time. Moving to Florida has taught me bug damage is worse here than I’ve ever experienced in Illinois.

So, as un-Autogeek as it is, if that means some water and a paper towel, that’s all I can do. Even if I can’t fully remove it, I feel I’m at least neutralizing it to some degree? Either way, much rather have shallow marring than etched clear coat.

I actually did let bird droppings sit for the sake of a test.

When you guys say WGDG topped with Fuzion do you mean the Fuzion spray wax?

    Re: WGDGPS/Fuzion observation.

After applying Wolfgang Spray Coating, I got hit with another bird bomb. It wiped off with ease and I didn't notice any etching.

Some people swear by one wax over another. Some claim brand X waterspots. Personally, I take that all with a grain of salt. It comes down to what product works for you.

People have actually studied the "chemistry" of bird droppings ...
