Using a foam cannon...whats your process

Just trying to see how others use the foam cannon if they own one. Do you foam once then two bucket? Do you foam once and just use a mitt all over and one bucket? What do you guys do?

I’d use it the same way I use my foam gun. Let the foam constantly flow over the car while I whisk with mitts. No buckets. This is what helps with lubricity and guards against marring.

And you leave the soap all on it until you do a final rinse?

Yep the soap is going to slide off the car. That’s why you constantly foam it with the foamer. Let the soap be until the final rinse and be sure to use a free rinsing soap. I use 3D Pink. Rinses off beautifully and leaves no residue behind.

Meg's Hyperwash is another excellent soap to use that rinses clean with zero residue.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

I rarely use my foam cannon anymore. Wastes too much product. If the car is not filthy (and 99% of the time it won’t be) then I just rinse with water and use the 2 bucket wash.
