Personally I would just keep the ones you don't use. Reason being is, lets say later on down the road you buy another vehicle and need to perform some sort of paint correction. You do your test spot and the pad you didn't use for this correction produces a more favorable finish on the car you just bought. That is three less pads you will have to buy later on down the road.
There is a number of different paint systems being used today, so it only makes sense to have access to more than one type of pad.

Thank you Mike! I was watching a video by 3m and the guy used 4 small sized dimes of 3d one for the whole hood! I know you say work by 2x2 But wouldn't 4 drops of speed be too much product for 2x2?
