    What decon do you recommend thats not clay?

    only problem is I don't want to mar the paint, I don't have a polisher yet. I'm waiting for a decent sale.

    I have no machine yet. I currently have a pressure washer setup, I want a griots g9.

    That's a great machine to start with, it replaced the one I have, the Griot's Garage 6" random orbital. Its very to use the machine, don't worry about hurting the paint...you will not! Depending on your needs you might wanna get the 5" backing plate conversion, more pads and better control. Looking forward to seeing how you come along here.

    Btw, if you do just a chemical decon, then wash the car you might be alright to apply the Seal and Shine. A little decon is better than none but with enough lubricity I wouldn't worry about marring the paint, just make sure you've got alot of clay lube down or even very soapy carwash soap will work.
