The car in my avatar is Nardo Grey. The car I’m working on is graphite grey...

The Nardo grey car has hard paint but otherwise is an easy car to keep looking good.

Perhaps it’s residual Colinite 475s? Seems unlikely as it seems to wear off after a few days in the weather but I’ve heard of stranger things?

I don't know about 474, but Colinite 845 will get the "sweats" if you applied it a little too thick. In really hot/humid conditions it'll make hazy patches/areas all over the vehicle. Washing or a wipe down with a QD spray would restore the shine and it wouldn't come back.

Glad to hear the Nardo Gray is easy to maintain. Since it's a rather low-vis color like you see on warships or combat aircraft, I could see it not offering much depth even when the clear coat is perfectly polished.
