Need help identifying issue on PPF

Ok I need some help. It’s a Jeep. Got muddy today. After washing I have all these marks that I assume is where the mud was. This is on PPF panels. I have tried every pad and chemical I have and nothing will get them out. I have these spots all over the side.

Can something actually Effect the PPF like this? That I can’t get out without removing PPF?

Thanks for the help. Didn’t know where else to turn.

Not supposed to use chemicals in ppf that may permanently stain the film. if it wasn't too bad all you had to do is heat up the area and it would heal itself

Was it a hot day out? It could be an issue of the mud being baked onto the PPF causing these marks.

It was not hot out. Only about 70. These marks were made by the mud (I presume), not chemicals I used.

I used some Menzerna 3800 to see if they would polish out. They didn’t.

Suntek or Xpel. I forgot what the installer used but he uses both of those. I will have to ask.

Let me say this do not and I mean do not say you put anything on it. Just say it came from being in the mud it may can be replaced under warranty. I'm a installer if you say you put something on it the manufacturer can say that you void the warranty

Ok. I will find out what he used. Other problem he is in CA and now I am in KY. Once I know the brand can I find a new installer in my area that does that brand or do I contact the supplier and try to get it warrantied.

Also how long is the warranty usually on these. Job was done about 2.5 yrs ago.

Doesn't matter most warranties are 5 to 10 years. You would have to call the manufacturer and file warranty claim
