    Removing buffing dust from steps

What’s a safe way to remove this? After using a DA buffer and Griot’s polish, I noticed white dust all over the steps of my truck. Tried removing it with Gold Class car wash and a microfiber towel, to no avail

The steps are coated with a grip tape type finish

    Ford Raptor steps?

Use a medium/stiff brush with your wash.

Using the MF towel must've been an awful experience with the grabbing. Those steps are gnarly as hell.

Cover those steps with an old towel or sheet next time you polish to avoid this in the future.

I agree but do not get too close to the edges of the tape or you will peel them off. good luck
