Best Care for Daily Drivers parked outside, wax, sealant, all-in-one

We have a few cars in the garage and several that are parked outside. They are each hand-washed on a weekly basis. I have been polishing them out, usually using HD Speed or Blackfire One Step. Am I using these all-in-one products too much? Even though HD Speed and One Step aren't too aggressive, are they eating away at the clearcoats? Is there a better product for monthly/bi-monthly protection. Open to ideas? Thanks Phil

Are you using a machine to apply the Speed/BF One step?

How often are you using these products?
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

You shouldn't need to keep polishing them so often unless you are reintroducing swirls, etc., when you do your washings.

Instead I would apply a longer-lasting sealant after the initial polishing. Wolfgang DGPS, Duragloss 105+601 or 111+601, Collinite 476 ... the choices are nearly endless, incl. newer sealants that have SiO2.

No coatings after an AIO though, unless you remove all traces of sealant left by the AIO - this would require polishing with a straight up polish.

I am using my Flex 3401 most of the time. Occasionally use my Rupes 21. I have been using the all-in-one about every two months. Even though we live about 1/2 mile from the ocean we get a lot of contaminants that stick to the paint. I usually use a fine grade clay and follow up with the aio. Phil
