    Touchless water wax removal

I always use the foam gun an two bucket method but so busy with work latelyy last 4 washes were touchless wash. I usually get non wax or sealant package but didnt have access to this particular wash i go usually and ended up getting the sealant (3x now) heard these waxes are hard as nail and hard to remove. Wondering is there any solution to remove this? I do have chemical guys clean slate will this work? Or do i need polish

I have a hard time believing that the Spray-O-Matic waxes are "tough as nails".

    Try a panel wipe.

I also think that anything a touchless wash can add as protection will last a few days, maybe a week at most.

It’s probably tough as nail just like F11 is on my ads.

I never rely on any car washing solution to
    totally remove Waxes/Sealants—even those that
are sprayed on at Touchless car wash facilities.

    IMO:
•Instead of beating your brains out using a car
washing product trying to remove Waxes/Sealants,
-you’ll discover that using a light polish, such as
    Meguiar’s M205 (or Meguiar’s Ultimate Polish), will
totally remove Touchless Spray Wax application(s).

•Following up with your favorite paint sealing product
will ensure a good looking and protected vehicle.

The stuff that's coming out of the nozzles there is equivalent to spray wax, if even that. It's usually gone after the first hard rain. I wouldn't worry about it.

No worry about left sealant/wax from a touchless. Even if the product coming out was "tough as nails" a touchless does not get the paint clean enough for it to bond well. You would be fine to use pinnacle cleansing lotion and then apply you lsp of choice.

    Re: Touchless water wax removal

My go-to for stripping a car is simply a PH mix that's high enough to do so. Super Clean is a very high PH APC that can be easily mixed down as a concentrate. Doing a car today and will take some pics or video perhaps to show it.

I mix it up in a spray bottle and test the PH to get it to 12+ which is super easy since straight out of the bottle it's off the charts high. I pre-treat each panel several at a time before I begin to do my normal wash of it. It strips 100% of even the toughest coatings. Been there done that. Will not harm paint or plastics when used wisely.....rinse them first and don't let it dry, etc.

I do it all the time as removing all waxes and sealant, etc. helps ensure polishing pads stay free from clogging up with whatever the client has put on the vehicle. Once rinsed it's very clear there's nothing but bare clear coat/paint finish left exposed as the water doesn't bead but nearly clings to the surface.
