Re: Sonax bsd the most hydrophobic spray lsp?

Seems there is always that "I love this, but......." factor with most products out there.

Great reason to have access to this form, but also a reason to adhere to the "Find something you like, and use it often" theory.

Can't remember the guy who coined this phrase..... I think it was a guy that lives in Florida.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Use BSD as your base then just use Bead maker as your drying aid.
Not much prep for some incredible results.
I used BSD initially then Ech20/Reload as my drying aid this winter.

I haven't felt the need to try Beadmaker.

edit: I think I did Sonax Net shield then BSD over it followed by the Merlin mix as drying aid when washed.

But man is this stuff thick as snot and the sonax sprayer is pretty terrible.
I spray it on a blue foam microfiber applicator to apply it (north south, then east west) and then wipe off with a separate microfiber towel.

I do a 2-3 square foot area at a time, I've found it much easier to apply and remove this way.

I read that using a sprayer that has better atomization really helps in the application of BSD. Haven't used BSD myself, so can't really provide any first hand experience. Just have to make sure the wind doesn't whisk away the product.

I'm pretty sure something like this would help: EZ Mist Sprayer - Black

Sonax bsd the most hydrophobic spray lsp?

If you don’t mind spending the money.... Polish Angel Cosmic Spritz or Kamikaze Overcoat. Both super hydrophobic and leave it looking amazing too.

Expensive tho both will cost about $80-100 for 8oz’s. It will last you a couple years though even if you use it monthly.

Gyeon Cancoat is a lite form of ceramic coating. Wipe on buff off no cure time. Beads like a MOFO and will give you 6 months to 1 year durability

    THIS!
I'm just a noob, but when I was selecting what products to use for my new car, I went with Sonax PNS and BSD.

I had the same experience with applying BSD and was told to get a "Flairosol" type fine mist sprayer.
Using this type of sprayer with BSD is a complete game changer.
It makes the application process so much easier and enjoyable. As a bonus, you use far less product than the bottle it comes in.

    Cool car.

In one of my roadshow classes, my class, (strangers to the owner of the car), we're able to train on one of these blue Hellcats, a yellow Mopar too.....

In your eyes, did TW look better than the BF Sio2 that you recently used?

I’ve been using BSD and v07 1:1 (history of folks using it on a European forum) over PNS. Goes on easy and will last a month or so in the Florida sun. When I run out of this combo, will be trying BSD and beadmaker 1:1.
