    Black Molding/Trim

We recently purchased a used vehicle and I am trying to get this looking good again. I am not sure what caused it but it looks some sort of chemical stain??? I know this is probably stated somewhere else but I could not find exactly what I was looking for. I did find this thread How to clean this. but it appears as though that is black rubber and not hard molding. This thread also recommended Solution Finish but this issue I have have is not on porous trim.

I have read that using a polish would fix this but I am not 100% sure (or what polish to even use). Any insight on removing these spots would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Rear trim has the worst damage.

Are you talking about the B and C pillars? The black part?

On my wife’s previous Honda Fit those were vinyl stickers that could be replaced. Is they not the case with that Honda Odyssey?

If that is the case I have to admit I had no idea! Thanks for the heads up...I will have to look into that.

I could see the vinyl wrapped when looking from inside. If yours is the same, should be cheap to get new vinyl at dealer and replace.
