Blackfire Pro Ceramic or Mckee's New Ceramic coating

Hsas anyone tried these two coatings?

Which one has the easier application? Has a Better look, gloss and slickness? And longer protection?

I have not used anything from McKee's since McKee's removed Autogeek as a source for their products. I have used the original McKee's paint coating back when it was in the DP line. That was a long time ago, actually back in 2013. So someone else would have to chime in on the current version.

    Here's my write-up from 2013 -

I've used the BLACKFIRE Pro Ceramic Coating a lot and show it in my classes. It's tough as nails. It's so tough - if you miss removing any high spots - you'll have to compound or polish them off.

Here's one of my reviews and how-to's for the BF coating, the article is very in-depth on how to prep the paint and install the coating. Heck it could be a how-to book it has so much information.

I'd say any spray-on coating is a tick easier to use than the foam block and microfiber suede patch method.

Thank you so much, Mike! I will surely read your write up about BF Pro, I've been eyeing this coating but just checking if someone has compared it to Mckee's. And as far as I know, the new coating from Mk37 uses a dropperand apply it via a foam applicator.

    Anyways, appreciated your input.

Hi Mike, how is the new DP paint coating? Is it the same formula from what you used before?
