Extremely Tough Brake Dust on 16 Maserati Ghibli
Hi everyone,
So the previous owner did a poor job of cleaning the rims and obviously never used a rim sealant. So I just tried Meguiars wheel brightner non diluted 4-5 times while using manual wheel brushes, drill adapter with wheel brush all with little impact. What can I do? I’ve tried claying, and my 3 inch porter cable pad wont fit between the wheel gabs, tried mothers wheel ball etc nothing makes much difference. Can anyone help? Thanks guys!

I’ve had good luck with using corner of a microfiber towel and your finger. Def wear gloves and remove the wheel. It’s gonna take some effort and pressure.
Use whatever cleaner you like.
I personally would hit them up with iron x. Scrub, pressure wash. Clean with Megs Nom Acid Wheel cleaner. Pressure wash and then take them off to further clean with wheel clay and microfiber towel and lot of pressure. Just make sure it’s well lubed. Iron X paste would be a good idea too

Thank you for the advice! I too noticed using my finger worked better than with a brush for some reason, any idea why? I definitely am going to try using the microfiber technique you just mentioned today, and get some Iron x paste. Thanks a lot man!
