Any options for protecting interior easily scuffed hard plastics?

Doors sill areas etc. I don’t want to cover them with film but am wondering if a ceramic coating etc may make at least cleaning them easier?

Coatings won’t protect to well from the scuffs but should make cleaning dramatically easier

Besides not driving the car, just be careful getting in an out.

I used to get asked how to remove scratches out of plastic door sills so often I wrote an article about why it can't be done 15 years ago.

What it means to remove a scratch out of anything...

You can easily clean scuffs from those areas with a Magic Eraser.
