I bought a 2014 Ford Mustang GT back in September. It was a lease turn in car and definitely wasn’t driven by an Autogeek. There were numerous swirls and water spots all over the car and the paint was very contaminated. I had to clay it 3 times to get it smooth. I have spent about 6 hours polishing it and trying to get the black paint to hopefully 90-95% correct. This is my first black car. It has had a repaint on the front end and roof due to hail damage.(it came from Texas). I’ve polished out most of the swirls but have these little spots I initial thought were water spots. They are smooth to the touch. Was wondering if these are water spots or a bad quality repaint. Am I looking at a wet sand to get rid of these or should I just let them be?
By the way, I’ve been using a Griot’s G9 with microfiber pads and Fast Correcting Cream for compounding and Correcting Cream with an orange pad.
