    Auto wash soap?…. Bead Maker?

Is it important to have the soap foam up,
or will it work just as well without foam?

When using Bead Maker as a drying aid, will
it affect the drying ability of the towel in the
    future?

    Thanks
    Jim

It shouldn't as the Bead Maker is being diluted. Washing your drying towel frequently would not hurt.

    •Depending on how they’re formulated:
    -Some soaps/car-wash shampoos will
    produce more foam than others.

-Doesn’t enhance or diminish their overall,
    formulated cleaning-ability...as far as I’ve
    ever been able to tell.

I like Bead Maker, but wasn't a fan of using it as a drying aid.

I found it to be a tad streaky compared to products like DG Aquawax, GG Speed Shine, and Meg's UQW.

Never tried BM but if using a drying aid Definitely wash the towel to get what your using as an aid out of it. Warm water.

Foam isn’t an indicator for lubricity which most important for a soap.

I’ve gone through over a gallon of Beadmaker as a drying aid and it hasn’t affected any of my drying towels 1 bit, and I tend to spray it on rather heavy.

As far as low sudsing car shampoo? I’m not a fan of any car soap that’s low sudsing.. Most people say it makes no difference, but I’d like to see them try and wash a dirty white work vehicle that has no protection on the paint and see how well any of those “gentle” low sudsing soaps do compared to 3D Pink or Meguiars Hyper Wash.

Personally, if a a bucket wash lacks rich suds it just doesn’t feel right and I won’t settle for it.

The only time I’d want low suds is when doing a rinseless wash. And is it just coincidence that rinseless washing works much better when done on lightly dirty/well protected paint?
    The evidence is everywhere.

Re: Auto wash soap?…. Bead Maker?

I found this old picture of a general purpose/350 gsm microfiber towel that I used to remove dedicated liquid sealant off of my car. That liquid sealant is many times more capable than Beadmaker or any other spray on sealant. This is what it looks like when a lsp has degraded a towels ability to dry..

Beadmaker could never do this to a towel.
