    Electric pressure washer recommendations?

Hello! New here but definitely not new to auto detailing.

I run a side business on the weekends and am looking for an electric pressure washer to use instead of my loud, over powered gas one.

    Here’s my wishlist:
    Auto on/off with trigger.
Easy adaption with the standard hose/wand/foam gun I already own.
    Under $200.

I’ve been eyeing the SunJoe SPX3000 but it seems to get mixed reviews, mainly the propriety connections being a pain.

I’ve watched a lot of the OG videos on YouTube but honestly it doesn’t seem he likes any of them.

I live in IL so I’ll be washing one or two vehicles pretty much half the year.

    Thanks in advance!

Can you get a pressure washer for $200 that won't have mixed reviews?

    AR390SS.

Uses a universal motor (more durable) and has TSS. Best yet is you can find for under $150. Theirs thread on autopia about it.

A couple years ago I bought a Stanley, one of the ones OG is not impressed with. I figured for the price I could just run it into the ground and replace it. However, it's worked just fine and with the right upgrades of a hose and wand, I think it works brilliantly. I'm not sure it really matters in the sub-$200 range as long as (and as you mentioned) the fittings are relatively standard so you can upgrade the parts you interact with.

I've been happy with my SunJoe 3000 - Also the connection is just a 14MM vs 15MM - you can easily find a quick connect for that at MTM Hydro:
    14MM Coupler

FYI - AR and few others also use 14MM vs 15MM...... So likely you may need the coupler even if you avoid SunJoe.

I have a Greenworks and it's worked flawlessly for 4+ years.
It's a 1700 psi. I use it for the car and patio/deck use.

It depends on how much you are willing to spend. I have the SunJoe SPX3000 and I love it. I got a great deal on it at BJs Warehouse. The special fittings were a bit frustrating but once I found the adapter there were no problems. If I was a professional, then I would probably invest in a higher end machine like a Karcher or a Kranzle.
