    Rupes rotary compound

Has anyone used the new rupes heavy cut (coarse) compound?

    Re: Rupes rotary compound

I don’t even know where it’s sold. AG doesn’t have it. Thought they would have when the rotary from Rupes came out. Anyway so many good compounds out there that’s is not a deal breaker for me.

    Re: Rupes rotary compound

I think I need to figure this product out. Seems to dry out too quick.
Going to try less product, slower speed. Problem is, at 600 to 800 rpms, my rotary gets hot because the cooling fan is not optimum at low speed.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Re: Rupes rotary compound

What machine, what pads are you using and what are you working on?

As stated above, I never used the Rupes polish Or compound for the rotary.

    I like for rotary:

    Sonax Cutmax

    Meg’s 110

    3D ACA 500

To name a few compounds. They are all no dusting, cut great and removal is a breeze.

Wool pads, flex rotary, and I agree with the cutmax
Also 3d one is good. I just haven't found rupes chemicals to work good for me
