Yes sir.

I bit the baited hook of these wheel cleaners when I first started to get serious about detailing.

Only find that my car soap did the exact same job for about 1/50th of the price.

And Wheel Woolies for softness.

I have been using the Mothers brush for the faces but it feels somewhat not soft.
I recently bought the Wheel Woolie Boars hair brush to use instead.

I didn't have a problem with a microfiber towel but just fell in love with the brush for the deeper crevices of the wheels.
Plus I always banged my hands with the towel approach.

The Mitts look nice and soft, are they water proof?

Have them no not water proof. I like rhem but dont feel too secure on the fingers.... why i bought brushes....

I do like rhe AF for getting behind spokes and a BHB 1” detail brush for deep cleanings. Was hoping WW BHB would speed up process.

As some has mentioned the brushes or wheel wash mitts is more important to get a quality of those. Many wheel brushes I think is way to aggressive than needed to be. Wheel Woolies for the wheel barrels and either of the 2 brushes on the wheel face. Or great mf towels dedicated to wheel cleaning or wash mf mitts/pads.

I use Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus as maintance wheel cleaner and mostly just PW clean rinsing it off is enough for a couple of washes. Car soap solution in the wheel bucket for added lubrication from it when doing a contact wash. And the Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus has a new much stronger formulation. And it's in the iron remover part it's way stronger than before.

Have any of you guys who just use car soap on the wheels. Tried to apply a bleeding wheel cleaner after your wash with car soap? And do you get any bleeding effect from it then?
Sure you can get it visual clean with a car soap solution. But would be interesting to hear if you get the imbedded brake dust off too with that. If anyone has done or want to try a bleeding wheel cleaner or an iron remover to see how it looks after your wash. Would be appreciated to hear about your experience. With a some kind of regualar use with an iron remover ability from the wheel cleaner. I think is good to be doing so you have a minimal build up of the imbedded iron particals from the brakes.

I only use waterless wash on my wheels. (I know steelies are not the same as real black wheels, but they are painted black Lol) The key is putting good layer of protection on them. I put a couple of coats of Meguiars UFF on them before winter and they look brand new after some waterless wash, a microfiber towel and minimal effort.

I followed the same plan on my Golf's silver painted alloy wheels which saw way more brake dust than my Impreza (which is the norm with German cars) and they cleaned just as easily.

It’s only a half mitt so you are going to get your hands wet. They work great in the face of the wheel and agitating behind a wheel spoke.

You will still need to use a wheel woolie or something gym similar to get into the wheel.
