Did my 1st $100K production truck this week.

My best customer is a guy who has several vehicles I take care of, some of them on a weekly basis. 3 cars, 1 truck, 2 Sea-Doo's and their trailer, a 2-seater RAZR with $30,000 of addons & upgrades, a brand new 4-Seater Can-AM UTV, a golf cart, an enclosed trailer, a 55' Toy Hauler and a flatbed trailer round out his fleet. This past week, he bought a new truck to pull his trailers with, and brought it directly to me to do new vehicle prep on it. The sticker was still in the window. It was purchased off the lot, not special ordered. The only aftermarket addons were a set of Fuel rims and 30" tires, a 5th wheel hitch mounted in the bed, and an Inyati bed liner.
The truck is a GMC Sierra 3500 Denali Super Cab, with the 6.6L DuraMax Turbo and a beefy rear end. Price for this monstrosity: almost $110,000! And, it's white with lots and lots of black plastic trim and black plastic steps built into the bed.
Don't get me wrong, it's a very nice truck! But just like the Escalade he bought his wife 6 months ago as her DD, it's not $100K worth of nice! Yup, the sticker in the window of the Escalade was $99,267!

The truck had just gotten there the day before and only had 3.4 hrs. on the engine. It didn't need any correction, just a good thorough wash and Sonax everywhere. I didn't take any pics because aside from the tires being dressed and the truck having sealant applied, it looks like every other brand new white truck.

Trucks and big SUV's are where we (GM) make our money.

That’s not a very glowing report on your
best Customer’s choices in vehicles, IMO.

Here’s a picture of my idea of what a
$100K(+) brand new white Truck would
    look like:

Out the door for only ~$117,000.00...
