    Topper Slickness

Hi folks. So typically at work I've been using Syncro. Found with the Indiana summer humidity its relatively easy to apply in the summer.

Boss LOVES the topper Skin. The look... feel... slickness... beads, etc. However, even at wholesale he isnt fond of the price.

So... my question is this... is there a comparable ceramic of which one can apply some other sort of 'topper' to achieve the same slickness, bead, et

    Thanks in advance

    Ryan

    Re: Topper Slickness

UK 3.0 topped with Gliss v2 is close. Some report that combo lasts longer than Syncro. I’ve had Syncro on my car for 13 months and it’s still great. I also have the other combo on my wife’s car for 5 months and really like it too. Price could be what makes me use the CarPro combo on mine next time.

Thanks a lot. I will look into that combo. I think we tried UK 3.0 a while back and it was a bit harder to remove in the high humidity but we can try again. I took really enjoy the Syncro combo.

    Thanks again.

Yeah, I guess I only spoke about performance but left application feedback out of my response. The CarPro combo is fairly easy to use but Syncro is easier.

I do agree the initial performance of Syncro is nice. Too bad it didn’t perform that well for me with Skin be underwhelming after 5-6 months.

Cquartz UK topped with Gliss has proven to be a better performer for me. Slickness still goes to Skin but longevity and durability goes to CarPro. Give CQUK another go and you also have the option to try Cquartz TiO2.

Another alternative would be Gtechniq CSL topes with Exo. It’s decent used as a combo together. Pretty easy to apply both.

Humidity and temperature is going to be a factor for all of these.

Thanks Guz. Hows the TiO2? Comparable. Havent read up in a bit. Super busy. Can one top TiO2 with Gliss as well?.

The Gyeon Q2 Syncro is an excellent choice for a two-step coating system. You can always maintain the coating with an SiO2 Spray Sealant. I like to use the Blackfire SiO2 Spray Sealant.

It’s comparable. It has titanium dioxide in its formula for more reflectivity. It has been known to offer better stain resistance where CQUK has the slight edge in durability.

Yes you can certainly top it with Gliss. Did that same combo on my brothers car.
