The reason I ask is, I had the GY hose years ago (in a work environment). It was as tough as one of their tires IMO. Awesome hose.
Only drawback was that it left those black marks on anything it came into contact with.
That said, dragging it around the driveway and having it only come into contact with the tires of the car would be no biggie.
I've never noticed any black marks dragging the GoodYear hose over concrete or parking curbs before. I keep the hose away from the vehicle when foaming and rinsing. I also like to use the Speed Master Detail Guardz, so the hose doesn't get stuck around the tires. It's by far the best hose I've ever owned and it's built to last.

I’ve had a 50’ going on 5 years now at the shop. They are a good hose. I will be buying another one when needed.

IDK How it will be, but picked up this 3/4 X 100' Greenwood commercial hose at Harbor freight today. PVC construction. $27 after the 20% off. It has very positive reviews.

Re: Tenkor Apex Zero -G Water hose. (Or other choices)
I had a '50 shrinking hose (I have no idea the brand) for a while. I really liked using it (didn't kink, easy to store) but dragging it around my cement driveway wore a hole in it in less than a year of use exclusively as a car wash hose. Now I have a regular hose that I don't like as much but I know it will last.
