    I had thought about making something like this for a long time. Never got around to it, then I found out one existed and made by Kamikazi. They have a small version as well, I believe, for like propping the doors. Neat gadgets, but those are expensive. I'll stick to using MF wrapped bottle, or look into this one

    I won't post links or photos of the Kami units. Not even sure you can get them in the states any more.

    Saw a kit here in Sweden so don't know how available it is and don't remember the name of it. But it came in 3 different sizes. Smaller one for the hood so it just gets a little open. The middle one for doors and sedan trunk lids an the larger one for hatchback and SW back. And if you are a little handy or not even that but can measure good. There a lot of different things you can put together these from a hardware store if you want to. Can be very handy when polishing sensitive paint or if you use a rotary or even to easier reach places of some panels.
