    Shoe scuffs on door panel

I noticed that I did not get the shoe scuffs off yesterday. Sometimes when my hands are full I’ll use my shoe to push the door shut. I never really noticed them before I started, so I didn’t put more effort into that area. Now that I have waxed over that area, what do I do? Wait until the next time I correct or can I do something now. It’s very obvious now that the rest of the truck is clean, for the first time in a long time!

    •Disclaimer:
-I’m giving my scuff removal solution
by assuming the scuffs are on the
    door’s exterior paint.
    -Please advise, if otherwise.

    •First:
-A mildly abrasive polish should be
able to remove the layer of Wax.

    •Next:
-I recommend doing a “Test Spot”
    on the now denuded-of-Wax scuffed
area—which in turn will yield what
    products/tools are needed to:
‘correct’ the entire scuffed up area.

    •Afterwards:
-Reapply the Wax to the corrected area.

    •A PSA:
    -When the “handsfull situation” again
arises, allow me to suggest that you
put some of the gluteal muscles to work...
    for the greater good.

Bad habit, use an Elbow instead! LOL

No mention of what polish you used, but for localized spots, there's no foul using the exact same polish you used beforehand and go to work on them with a Hand Applicator.

Rub in various directions, start out light, then increase downward pressure and repeated applications if needed.

Fine Polishes such as Meguiars #205 are good to use a number of ways.

After, just come behind again with the same Sealant-Wax.
