How long to wait before using paint sealant on new cars?
I remember reading something about this but my dad has a new car . I think I read you should wait 30 days before you wax/use a sealant on a new cars paint. It was about allowing it to gas off or something... Is this true on normal production cars?

The easiest way to check is in the Driver's Door Jamb. It will tell you the month/year the vehicle was manufactured. You can base the time off of that. But generally speaking, 45-60 days is the waiting period for car paint to cure.

A new car can be sealed right away. It is a different process than repainting.

It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

You can apply whatever you want the day a vehicle comes off the assembly line. Paint is cured by the factory that can not be matched in terms of curing.
It’s 30 days to wait after a repaint.

I need to double check. This includes coatings as well? Or is that different?
