best car shampoo/foam soap for coated car,

what is the best car shampoo/foam soap Combo for a coated car (preferably pH neutral) ?, i got the mothers wash and wax (orange thick soap with banana scent) and it can be used as both soap and for foam cannons, also got a bottle sitting around "Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo" can they be used at high concentration to produce good scrubbing soap/foam and then follow the two bucket method (not gonna mix different shampoos for the same car i just need to use one) ?? am only foaming the car (after rinsing it off firstly) to cover it with soap and provide more than enough lubrication to scrub it with some peace of mind ! not doing the touchless washes crap coz its totally pointless from my experience even on a coated car (some dirt/dust/grime will always be STUCK to the coating no matter how much or how powerful water pressure you apply etc..) so yes scrubbing is a must with a premium wash mitt !..

    thanks.

Re: best car shampoo/foam soap for coated car,

    Hello,

Both Gyeon Bathe & Bathe + can be used after coatings.

I use Bathe for normal washing, and after the wash i use Bathe + with the foam cannon to add some hydrophobic effect.

I’m kind of Gyeon minded as I use their coatings aswell...

    Have a good day/night!

Re: best car shampoo/foam soap for coated car,

I'm a fan of CarPro Reset and use only that on both my cars (one coated with Gyeon Syncro and one with CQ UK3+Gliss2)

For the enthusiast the price of Reset is not an issue. For a pro going through lots of soap Meguiar's HyperWash might be a better choice.

Re: best car shampoo/foam soap for coated car,

I've used several shampoos with success on a coated vehicle, but my favorite right now is Optimum Car Wash.

I hope you're not scrubbing too hard. On my coated vehicles, even the worst grime comes off with very little effort. Dried on bugs take a little more work, but with a bug scrubber sponge, I'm still not "scrubbing". I gently run it over the spots a few times until their gone.

Re: best car shampoo/foam soap for coated car,

You don't have to follow the manufactures route of products to maintain the finish but rest assured you know its designed around the same principles. But that's just me.

What coating is the paint wearing?

sorry i meant agitation not scrubbing, just seen this guy on youtube and he seems to know what on earth he is doing:
    YouTube

so i will most probably lightly rinse the car (once a week or so with light dust)...
foam the car with recommended ratio of carpro reset
agitate the paint with several mitts / 2bm
rinse off and then air dry...

i dont think its feasible for me ATM to use several shampoos to wash my car so just ordered he car pro reset and i gotta say from the reviews ive seen it sounds like the way to go from now one and long long time coz i really like their products !...

    thanks,
