Meguiar's Water Spot Remover Is It Just a Polish/Abrasive (downside it removes sealant?)
I am just a home gamer, finally got brave enough to do polish with a DA (thanks to much I have learned here). Great results got many old water spots off (swirl, etc). I swear water spots are a bane to a daily driver trying to keep up.
If I get to them in short order 1-2hrs detailing spray "can" get them but it is not practical and I know that there will be times it would be a day or so.
Seen Meguiars Water Spot Remover in a store. Is it essentially just a polish (and does it wear at my sealant, Duragloss). Really dont want to have to re-apply sealant after every time I tackle the water spots. Does Mequiars Water Spot Remover work well at water spots by hand, dont want to break out the DA.
Seams like a viscous cycle.........
Anything less wear to the sealant but have a shot at 1-2 day old water spots. Or are they just too set at 1-2 days.

It is an abrasive polish. You will need to reapply protection.

•In my way of thinking:
-If a product is ‘strong enough’ to remove
water-spots, then it’s ‘strong enough’ to
remove many LSPs.
-As such: I considered it a “Best Practice”
to re-apply the LSP to the areas on a painted
panel where a water-spot removal product has
been used—regardless its “abrasives-level”.
{Please feel free to draw your own conclusions
by trying out both “types” of Meguiar’s water-
spot removers.}

I would look into CarPro Spotless. Works well for me. Now if the spots are really bad, you can step up to 3D Eraser Gel. That however will require a reapplication of your LSP but it is still easier than having to re-polish and apply and LSP. I've used both.
