Prima Amigo vs chemical paint cleaners vs fine polishes
In terms of correcting, how does Amigo fair against a chemical paint cleaner like PBs professional polish? Then say against Griots Perfecting Cream? Im looking to only polish the paint as needed, once a year. But looking to use something to strip LSPs as needed/remove water spots MINOR stuff when needed too. Maybe just get the Amgio? or the Pro Polish?
I remember reading about AMigo since I first got into this, but never made the jump...
suggestions?

Re: Prima Amigo vs chemical paint cleaners vs fine polishes
Based on what you are wanting to do, I'd go with a fine finishing polish like the Perfecting Cream. However, you still need to think of the paint hardness when considering removal of even light marring.
The correcting ability in Amigo is VERY light, plus it has fillers in it since it's also considered a glaze. From my experience with it, I can't imagine it being really good at even minor correction or LSP removal. I liked it as a glaze, but would never expect more from it.
Poorboys Pro Polish is an interesting candidate. The product doesn't have any abrasives in it and any correction you get is from the pad on your machine. I used it to clean up VERY minor marring on a Mazda3 once. It might do what you need, but you'd have to play around with different pads to see.
