Good old over-the-counter Meg's Cleaner Wax in the maroon bottle has always given excellent results for me!

I second Meg's Cleaner Wax. I used this from 2003 to 2017. The paint on my 2002 Sequoia is still glossy, with clear coat intact. When I said so long to my 03 Infiniti in 2018, that too was shiny with clear coat intact.

The cleaner wax also removes transfer scuffs from paint, rubber, etc, and is easy to apply. I also used it with old terry towels, that weren't the softest either. The best you can do is wash regularly to remove road grime, dirt and fallout, that with time erodes the clearcoat and/or paint. An All In One simply cleans a little deeper, removes scuffs and swirls, provides some water beading, protection, and gives it a nice shine.

    Re: One-Step Polish/Wax

Figured id update this post. About a month ago i used meguiars 3in1 on my wifes civic. No prep other then wash and then applied this. Wanted to test longevity. I have not washed or apllied anything else since. Here is beading its there but not awesome. In my environment id expect i could get 2 month protection.

Then i washed it with CG mr pink and apllied meguiars hybrid ceramic wax. And here it is after clean up. Probably next month ill get it ready for winter and snow ugh.

Another vote for HD Speed. I get 3-4 months of durability on a daily driver, not garaged, in the AZ heat with 105+ for 6 months of the year.

Do you top the HD Speed with anything?

After most washes, I've been using CG HYBRID V07 OPTICAL SELECT HIGH-GLOSS SPRAY SEALANT & QUICK DETAIL SPRAY. But I did not use any topper until the first wash after the HD Speed application.
