    Re: Meguiars White wax Questions

Being rainy yhat kicks lot of debris in the car in the fall winter and even spring ill do 1-2 time waterless. Or rinsless then doing my 1x week foam gun pressure washer and two bucket method .

With this routing im thinking it will break the wax down bit more so applying your mentioned waxes every 1 to 1.5 month wouldnt hurt right? Planning on doong this for about year then get it ceramic coated and wax quarterly .

Unless you waxing becomes fun then probally continue lol

I think foam gun and pressure wash and pressure rinse takes lot of waxes off (even if i do the widebeam and 2 to 3 feet away

^^It can’t hurt to wax too soon, at 1-1.5 months given all the touching/washing. You will eventually get the idea when each LSP starts to lose its properties enough that you will want to reapply for that reason, at that time. Until then, you can plan for your 1-1.5 month re-app.

No need to wax over a coating. This says it well.

That would have to be one real powerful pressure washer. The elements will break down the wax more than the pressure washer.

Of course the LSPs’ characteristics are going to
    become somewhat adversely affected/somewhat
diminished—especially when it’s washed as often,
and in so many different ways, as you listed, IMO.

    Using Meguiar’s D114, in what I’ll call a
responsible manner, has kept me from
having to worry endlessly about the
    re-LSPing (re-sealing) processes.

•As a testament to this wash method:
-One of our vehicle’s LSP has now reached
the 4 1/2 yrs. milepost. Who knows: I just
may re-apply some more of it somewhere
    around April, 2020...Or not.

    No muss. Less fuss.

I see lol didnt know what really breaks wax but doing those quick spray wax with thin layer i probally assumed other waxes break down as quickly . Something about waxing makes it fun lol so kind of sucks that coating over ceramic is not good idea

*wax over ceramic... it won’t hurt anything except for masking the coating’s best properties... but you can do it to change the look and the wax will eventually wear away. I wouldn’t worry about any of this until next year.
