Mckees si02 autowash contaminating plastic trim?

So I put my trim through a thorough cleaning to prep for some trim dressing. I did it before my wash the proceeded to use the mckees si02 autowash afterwards.

Is there any chance the si02 left behind will interfere with the dressing application? Probably going to go with c4 or keep it light with perl I'm not sure yet but either way?

Think it's a problem for either type of dressing?

I highly doubt Mckees SiO2 will interfere, it has very minimal SiO2, not enough to add any real protection.

Something like WG Uber SiO2 Wash I would be more worried about (substantial protection for a wash).

True, I think some trim products have si02 in them. Like maybe gtech C4? I know u can use gtech liquid crystal as a trim dressing

I can’t tell if C4 has SiO2 from the descriptions, depending what “3S nano composite coating” means. Sounds SiO2-ish. I did see the instructions to clean vigorously and use IPA, so you could do that to be safe. My gut says that Mckees SiO2 wash wont impact it either way though... but just my opinion.

C4 trim coating MSDS indicates it is a Silane based compound (some form of SIO2)and the CSL is linked carbon chains

Yeah, IGL uses Silane and Siloxane, and I think Overcoat uses at least one of those. It’s legitimate coating stuff (I’m not very good at chemistry wording but I can put simple ideas together if someone tells me what’s up )
