This is Solution Grey used on gray trim <snip> It’s pretty rare to find a vehicle that came with gray plastic trim, but this Toyota 4 Runner fit the bill.

@mrmarkmac Gotcha now! I was having a brain cramp. Eldo correctly show the difference and understood. I wasn't thinking of the two different colors is why my answer back was a bit odd perhaps.

Hopefully you are all good now. Haha on my brain cramp.

Here's a thought ... contact Solution Finish directly and ask them if they could sell you a 1 oz. of their Fusion Grey trim restorer. It never hurts to ask. Maybe even offer to put up a review online to help raise awareness of the product.

Solution Finish customer support is excellent. I have contacted them twice and both times they replied quickly. Actually it was the inventor of SF who replied to me!

I've had good luck with McKee's 37 plastic trim restorer on my Xterra. I use it every few months and it holds up pretty well.

That looks great. Was it faded or in good shape before you applied it?

Re: Trim Restore on 14 year old Xterra

I got on early with the McKess. So it was in good shape overall. But for really bad trim, I hit with Mothers trim cleaner first (Another really good product) then follow up with the McKess. Loved the Xterra, hated all the trim! But once treated with McKess it really lasted! To be honest a year or more before I would have to reapply.
