Favorite Glass Coating
Have used McKees, Adams, Carpro 30 and 40. Not sure I have a clear winner and there may be others you would recommend.
What is your favorite glass (windshield) coating?

Not a coating in the sense of a ceramic/nano/glass etc..... but Griots glass sealant is pretty solid. Cheap, really easy to use and has decent longevity.

Does it start smearing around as it wears down like rainx does? That’s probably my only complaint with rainx. I’ve wanted to grab some of the griots, but I didn’t wanna end up just buying basically rebranded rainx lol.
I guess even if it was, I’ve used rainx for years and have just dealt with that quirk. So maybe I should just grab some when I run out of the stuff I have now that I haven’t even cracked open yet (non ag product, I think.)

Re: Favorite Glass Coating
PBL Glass Coating works for me. I get about 6 months out of an application and there is close to 10 applications in a bottle and it doesn’t harden up in the bottle.

Re: Favorite Glass Coating
I haven't found a glass coating that's worth it, but I agree that Griot's Glass Sealant is so easy to use it's what I keep coming back to.

Re: Favorite Glass Coating
I’ve posted this numerous times, but I use PBL and its good enough and economical enough that I haven’t desired a switch. I got 7 months (windshield) out of my last round (and still doing fine at time of adding Sealant on top) which included winter and now downpours all spring. I have yet to use half a bottle in 2 years (2 cars, all windows, times each).

I've only used it the one time. I can't remember exactly how long it's been on but it's been over 2 months for sure. I've not had any issues with smearing or streaking.

Re: Favorite Glass Coating
Was using Pinnacle and really liked it, got close to 6 months.
Tried my first glass coating, Mckee's. For me it was the same as the sealant.
Will be trying something new to me. Fictech.

I applied Griots to my rear windshield and has been doing good. I can't comment on front windshield usage yet. Has lasted 4 months and I applied 2 layers following the directions.
I also have applied CMX to my front windshield and that is lasting me almost 5 months now. Was easy to apply, wipe on and off.
See this post for before and after windshield with CMX
