Re: Onr not taking dirt off or is it road film that it just can’t get off?

Thanks guys , from reading most of the remarks I think the panel was just to dirty to begin with and that’s probably what happened. I think I expected onr to be more then it is. I will test it out the next time we have shitty weather which should be tomorrow then I’ll know for sure but thanks for all your time and wisdom

As I sort of said in my previous post, the first towel soaked in ONR will pick up most of the dirt on the panel, but the ONR left on the panel will have dirt encapsulated in it. When you wipe with the drying towel, it will pick up the liquid and the dirt trapped in it. As a result, that second towel will show dirt on it.

With ONR, you’re kind of taking a leap of faith that it is truly providing a buffer between the dirt and your paint as you wipe with the drying towel since the first wipe with the towel soaked in ONR is not going to pick up all the dirt. The same is true when doing a regular wash except you have that extra rinse step of hosing off the soap and the loosened dirt with water before drying off the panel.
