I've got some Duragloss 931 and Wolfgang

    So does Finish Kare 425,

So, what I'm actually looking after is a LSP
that plays nicely with rinseless washes, lasts
several months, rinses off as cleaner as possible

recently a friend of mine suggested
me to try Finish Kare 1000p

    Finish Kare 1000P/Finish Kare 425

    IMO:
    Right there is the combo
    you’ve been searching for!

If it is "Slick" that you are after, try using 3D Speed topped with Collinite 845. You will be stunned.

A tad less slick would be Collinite 476s over the Speed, but the longevity will be much greater.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

I did a guy's '76 Porsche maybe 4 years ago. 2 stage correction topped with a beauty wax.

Couple years later, did his dad's '86 Porsche with FK1000p.

Recently, he asked me to touch up his '76 again, but requested FK1000p this time.
He likes how his dad's car feels so slick and smooth when he washes it.

I'll be using FK1000p and giving him a bottle of FK425 to maintain it

This truly is a great combo, at a great price

The two wax/sealants that I primarily use (Collinite 845 and 3D Poxy) both have very good slickness with good longevity, with Collinite lasting a bit longer and being a little more durable. 3D Poxy is the wax/sealant that is included with 3D Speed which PaulMys eluded to.

I also use SiO2 toppers and sealants as LSP. What's important for me is to use something that don't mask it's behavior. So another application or a topper that goes good with it. If you use something like opti-seal you would get that caractics in dirt build up and such. And that's your LSP now.

I also don't wash as often as I would want. But the use of Carpro Reset car soap is making this real easy to do with lubrication and cleaning ability from it that's top notch. I don't useally don't use any drying aid or top it afterwards. Just top it when it's noticed degraded in the water behavior. One more thing that helps me a lot to get it real clean is a great prewash foam and PW clean rinsing it off.

Maybe could test out Carpro EcH2O as rinseless wash and waterless washes and drying aid. Even the Magic Elixir with EcH2O and Reload as a more stout QD.

If going more with traditional sealant. Menzerna Power Lock the same as Jescar or Collinite 476s or FK1000P.

    Re: Longest lasting slickness LSP?

Wow thank you guys, lots of inputs and feedbacks!

It seems that the Finish Kare 1000p and the Collinite 845 gets lots of love and are two top notch products regarding that aspect.
    I'll surely try them then!

Just to add another one that I'm curious about: how does Menzerna/Jescar Powerlock perform compared to FK1000p and Collinite 845?
And would it make sense to try it combined with Duragloss 601 to eventually increase its bonding and durability?

I’ve never heard anyone using DG 601 with non-DG sealants. Not sure if it would bond the other sealants.

Powerlock is fantastic, a classic sealant still loved today. I’ve seen 5 months out of it before topping. Similar to Collinite 845 but slightly less dust collection maybe, due to no carnauba. Both give that shiny look. I think Collinite 476, 915 and FK can give you better longevity in most environments, bust most of us would be refreshing our LSPs by 5-6 months anyways.

I’m going to throw my vote for FK 10000p. You can’t go wrong. Long lasting and slick. When I don’t use a coating I always grab the FK 1000p. Just remember thin for the win and a can will last a lifetime.

I’ve been pleased with DG 105/601 topped with DG 111/601. Just passed 3 months and the the slickness and beading have no noticeable difference. The vehicle sits out 24/7 and only nature’s cleaning. BTW, horizontal surfaces take a beating in the Florida sun
