I would guess 1 year. You’ll probably reapply before it’s really needed.

After that, it could rain for weeks. NO running at all.
    100% Agree.

Yes but faded is risky because if you need to restore with something like Solution Finish then you definitely don’t want to coat first. So those require some judgment call but on new trim coating is the way to go. Just a little faded will look great again with a coating. Even the white marked ones from polish I found that the coating makes look new again.

    Good info.

With the McKee's, I apply it roughly every 8 weeks.

To me, the cost of the trim coatings does not compute. JMO, and I am in no way saying the coatings are not worth it to some.

Dlux is on all my trim (Ram Rebel daily driver) for 2 years now. Beads well and still looks like day 1.

Good to hear. I can’t make that claim as I didn’t use the product that long ago but on what I used it looks like day 1 and that was last year.

Q2 is on my wife's car for 14 months/18k miles through an Ohio winter and looks/performs like it's fresh. I've even tried to re-apply on a portion over what's there now just to see if there's a difference and there wasn't so I saw no need to strip and re-apply.

All that's needed is a simple test-spot. He'll know in 2 seconds once it touches the plastic trim if it's going to darken it.

Keep in mind, the small bottle of Q2 Trim will do a ton of surface area. I get several vehicles done with just a single bottle and price my services accordingly. Typically I'm in the $75-100 per vehicle rate but again, that depends on the amount of trim I need to do.
