Is Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound (Bottle Version) Really Aggressive?

Has anybody used Turtle Wax rubbing compound (the bottle one)? It's called a "compound" but I don't know how aggressive it is. I tried to use the "polishing compound" but it doesn't correct to my expectations. I just don't want to remove more clear than I need to. Maybe my technique isn't good? Below are the other details:
-Rupes 15 with Buff and Shine Low Pro Cutting Pad (Green)
-Car is a 2013 Honda that I haven't washed in 2 years besides using the automatic car wash (which probably added more swirls).
Any help would be great thanks!

Then do a Test Spot.

I did the marker tip a while back after watching one of your videos. I was able to remove scratches with less aggressive methods but not as much as I would like since my car is dark blue.

More like turtle wacked... I would prob get a better compound like the new mcquiars 110 pro compound. Turtle wax is kind of considered a joke around here

I’m not sure why. They have some products out there that would put a lot of others to shame. I think that sentiment is slowly changing.

I agree. Even in that like 35 coating test floating around YouTube NuFinish was outlasting some coatings that would be considered good on that panel.

Not that I use NuFinish (nor is it a turtle wax brand product - not that I’m aware of anyway), but as products continue to progress, retail offerings will also get better. The seal n shine product looks to be promising, and I’ve seen lots of praise towards the turtle wax ice product line in general.

I’d say retail products are approaching the point where older reputable waxes and sealants don’t have such an edge on them anymore. Being that we’re on autogeek, we’ll always be aware of the latest and greatest. But it’s at the point now where I don’t walk through an automotive section and assume it’s all junk.

I’m imaging probably have to use a pretty heavy cut compound and pad then follow with a polish. Many times “swirls” are much heavier defects than we think initially

Rupes and TW compound doesn't really sound right in the same sentence.

Local stores carry Meguiars Ultimate Compound which can be a great cutter.
