I've used Tuf Shine and Pinnacle tire cleaners and both are excellent.

But my favorite is Mothers Back-to-Black Tire Cleaner (aka Tire Renew). Super cleaning power and as a bonus, it's waterless. Plus it's comparatively inexpensive.

Although rubber (OEM Lexus)mats are not tires, I thought Mothers would get the scuff marks out, but no cigar.

Will try it on tires next instead of Tuf Shine.

Well, that's surprising. Maybe the Mothers is formulated around the makeup of modern tires which are a blend of both natural and synthetic rubbers ?

Scuff marks on mats are problematic when it comes to cleaning, my Weathertechs drive me crazy in that regard. Even WT's own cleaner doesn't work worth a darn.

This is actually where I draw the line.

I have WT floor liners, and they are (to me) a sacrificial product. As long as I shake the sand/dirt off and give them a quick clean once in a while, I could care less about them looking the best.

I wouldn't go as far as saying it is the best at least from my experience. It is good but the previous version of McKee's tire coating had it beat.

It is my no messing around cleaner right now.

In your opinion, how long does the coating last?
If you would have wanted to try it I would have sent you my bottle. I ended up giving it away on Autopia. The thing about tuf shine tire coating is it loses its luster so fast and doesn't last that long. I went one year with the previous version of McKee's which was great. Tuf Shine tire coating never had a chance.

    Very thoughtful of you sir.
Right now I have 4 tire coatings I am using on 12 sets of seasonal wheels. I get lost on what I used on what.

I am still searching for the direct TW Endura replacement.
I did just order some CQ Lite, Mike.

I can't comment as I have not used McKee's. Might give it a try after I use up TS..which could take a few years as a little goes such a long way.

Your right as far as the shine does lose its luster, but I don't like shiny tires anyway. Even after several rains and washing you can still feel the protection still there. The surface of the tire is nice and slick.

TS offers UV protection, does McKee's offer UV protection?
